What is the real story behind Overwatch? The lore explains, over 60 years in the future from today, lies the future that was set over 30 years ago. In that time, humanity was in a golden age of technology, which they created factories called omniums, massive, self governing factories that produced omnics, a peaceful robot race set alongside humans. They coexisted peacefully, but there were sometimes tensions between the two groups. That all changed when the omniums all of a sudden began sending out dangerous omnics that threatened the nations of the world. Russia was attacked first, as they fought aganist the killer robots that were attacking. Other nations such as the United States, Germany, Australia, and more, were being threatened by this. To combat this, The United Nations created Overatch, to combat the crisis.The teams leaders consisted of Jack Morrison, part of the U.S.A Soldier Program, Gabriel Reyes, and Ana Amari. Together, with the rest of Overwatch, fought the waves of robots and successfully eliminated the threat.

Gameplay

Overwatch's gameplay is actually different from its lore, compared to other games out there. Currently, as of writing this down, there are currently 25 playable heros.

Offense: Doomfist, Genji, Mccree, Pharah, Reaper, Soldier 76, Sombra, and Tracer.Defense: Bastion, Hanzo, Junkrat, Mei, Torbjorn, and Widowmaker.Tank: D.Va, Orisa, Reinhardt, Roadhog, Winston, and Zarya.Support: Ana, Lucio, Mercy, Symmetra, and Zenyatta. -
Overwatch also has many gamemodes, such as Quickplay, where you and a team of other 5 players play an objective. There is also Arcade, where players can play many gamemodes such as 3v3, Team Deathmatch, and more. Also, there is the renowed competittive mode, where teamwork and game-sense comes in mind. From this mode, you can earn ranks (Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Diamond, Master, Grardmaster, and Top 500) and points, which you can golden guns from that mode.
